SSC Releases Official Notice for CHSL Exam Aspirants, check details

An official notice has been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) regarding the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination 2020. The official notification has been issued in favour of the interested and eligible candidates who aspire to apply and clear the CHSL 2020 examination. Through the official notice, SSC attempts to suggest the candidates that they must avoid last minute rush and apply for the examination before the last date specified by the Commission. SSC suggests that candidates must not wait for the 15 December, 2020 deadline and apply for the posts as early as possible. The Commission has already commenced the registration procedure for the 2020 SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination in an online mode from 7 November, 2020. The deadline regarding the same has been set as 15 December, 2020 however the Commission suggests aspirants to not wait for the last date to send their applications.

The official notice that has been released by the Commission informs that the same has been released for the candidates aspiring for the 2020 Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level, Examination. The notice emphasises that aspirants must fill and submit the online applications prior to the last date of applications which is 15 December, 2020 without waiting for the deadline. Candidates have been advised and informed that applying on the last minute might invite unwanted rush, internet disconnection or failure to log in to the official website due to the busy and heavy traffic that will be present on the servers during the last days.

The recruitment drive for the year 2020 is being conducted to fill the available vacancies regarding the various posts: Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). Candidates eligible and interested for the posts are also required to fulfil the educational qualifications that have been specified by the Commission, the details of which have been mentioned below.

·         LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA/ DEO (except DEOs in C & AG): Candidates aspiring for these posts are required to have successfully passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

·         Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C & AG): Candidates aspiring for this post are required to have qualified Class 12 in the Science stream with one subject being Mathematics from a recognized Board or University.
