LIC AAO 2020
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) conducts Assistant Administrative
Officer (AAO) exam every year for the recruitment of Assistant Administrative
Officers in its numerous branches in the country. After qualifying the LIC AAO exam,
aspirants are hired as Assistant Administrative Officer in the well renowned
state-owned Insurance & Investment Company, Life Insurance Corporation.
The Preliminary exam for LIC AAO is expected to be conducted in May 2020
while the Mains exam will be conducted at the end of June 2020. There is a
single application form for all the stages of the LIC AAO 2020 exam for which the
online registration window will open in March 2020.

Academic Qualification
|
AAO (Generalist)- Graduate in any course from any recognized
Institution.
AAO (IT)- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in CS, IT or an MCA/MCS
from a recognized university
AAO (CA)- Graduate from any recognized university along with passed
final examination of Chartered Accountants. Also, an associate member of
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
AAO (Actuarial)- Graduate in any course from a recognized Indian
Institution along with compulsorily passed
all the papers of the exam conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of
India plus the membership number which will be verified with the Institute of
Actuaries of India/ Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
AAO (Rajbhasha) – Post Graduate degree in Hind along with English
as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR
Post Graduate Degree in English as well as Hindi as one of the subjects
at Graduate level OR
Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English together with Hindi as subjects
at the Graduate level.

LIC AAO 2020 Application Form
Applying for LIC AAO Exam 2020 can be done through online mode only. For
registration of LIC AAO Exam, follow the below-mentioned steps:

Aspirants can register through visiting LIC official website. Fill in the
application form by providing requisite details.
·
Mention a valid email ID and an active mobile number which will be needed
till the declaration of results.
·
Aspirants need to upload a scanned photograph, signature, and documents
ready as per specifications mentioned in the official notification.
·
Payment of the Application fee must be done online using Debit Card/Credit
Card/Internet Banking/Cash Cards/Wallets, etc.
·
After completion of the process, an e-receipt will be generated of which
print out is needed along with the Application form for future reference.
·
Aspirants belonging to General/OBC category have
to pay an application fee of Rs. 600/- while SC/ST/PwD category has to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-
LIC AAO 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for LIC AAO 2020 will be released differently
for every stage. Aspirants can download the admit cards from the LIC official
website by clicking on the direct link given and entering their login
credentials. Aspirants need to carry their hall ticket along with a valid id
proof or else the entry into the examination center will not be permitted.
LIC AAO 2020 Exam Pattern
LIC AAO 2020 exam is an online computer-based test (CBT)
The exam has 3 stages consisting of a Prelims exam, Mains
exam followed by an Interview.
LIC AAO Prelims 2020
The LIC AAO 2020 Prelims exam will be conducted around May
2020. It consists of an objective type question that needs to be attempted by
aspirants in the time duration of 1 hour.

LIC AAO Mains 2020
LIC AAO 2020 Mains exam consists of both objective
and descriptive tests that will be conducted online only. Aspirants qualifying the Prelims exam
as specified by LIC will proceed to the Mains Exam. The LIC AAO Mains exam is
divided into 5 sections consisting of 120 questions which are required to be
answered in 2 hours. Furthermore, English Language Test will be of qualifying
nature.

LIC AAO 2020 Result
The result of 2020 will be declared separately for each stage. Aspirants
successfully meeting the prelims cut off will appear for the mains exam.
Consequently, the selected aspirants will then appear in the interview round. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the main
examination and in the Interview altogether. Aspirants can download their scorecards by visiting the official LIC website and entering
their roll numbers.
Shortlisted aspirants in final merit list have to undergo a Pre-Recruitment
Medical Examination and after passing the exam will be finally selected.
