NDA 2020
NDA or National Defence Academy Exam is a national level exam conducted for
the recruitment of candidates in the Army, Navy and Air Force. It is a national
level exam organized by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) to recruit
aspirants. The examination for NDA is an offline mode (pen and paper) exam. It
is a two-tier examination followed by the SSB interview round for candidates
who qualify the written exam. NDA- 1 examination will be conducted in April
2020 and NDA-2 examination will be conducted in August 2020.
Aspirants who qualify the written examination will be called for SSB
interview round. The final declaration of the result will be after the written
examination and SSB interview round.

The subject of Bhutan or Nepal
Tibetan refugee who came to India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A PIO (Person of Indian Origin), who has come back from Burma, Pakistan,
Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of
Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and
Vietnam with the motive to settle down permanently in India.

Academic Qualification
|
For Army Wing- Class 12th
passed or cleared equivalent examination from the State Board.
For Air Force Wing, Naval
Wings and 10+2 cadet entry at the Indian Naval Academy- Class 12th
passed with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from the State Board.

Age Limit
|
Only unmarried male candidates can apply for the exam i.e. born before
2nd January 2000 and not after 1st January 2003
For NDA-I 2020, aspirants date of birth should be between 2nd January
2000 to 1st July 2003.
For NDA-II 2020, aspirants date of birth should be between 2nd January
2001 to 1st July 2004.
The entry of date of birth as recorded in the matriculation or Secondary
School Leaving Certificate or in a certificate recognized by an Indian
University.

NDA 2020 Application Form
The NDA exam is conducted twice a year. The online application
form for NDA 2020 will be available in January 2020 for NDA 1 exam and then in
August 2020 for NDA 2 exam. The procedure for registration for the exam is
mentioned below :

Aspirants can access the application form of NDA 2020 by visiting the
official website of UPSC. They can apply online and register for the exam.
·
Fill in the information such as basic details, mobile number and valid
email id is given in the form carefully, as no changes will be allowed thereafter
for the aspirants.
·
Upload all the necessary asked documents such as scanned copies of the
aspirant's photograph, thumb impression, and signature which should be
accessible, while registering for the test.
·
Aspirants can complete the registration process by initiating the fee
payment which can be done via online mode (VISA/Master/Debit Card and Net
banking) or via offline mode (through e-challan of SBI Bank).
·
On successful completion of the process,
aspirants must take the print out of the application form along with generated
e-receipt.
The application fee is Rs. 100/- for General and OBC category while for
SC/ST candidates and wards of NCOs/ JCOs/ORs are not required to pay any
application fee.
NDA 2020 Admit Card

The official notification release of NDA 2020 admit cards will be available
for the aspirants online.
·
Aspirants have to visit the official website to download the NDA Hall
Ticket 2020. Aspirants will additionally be notified via Email or SMS.
·
To download the admit card, aspirants have to enter their login credentials
and fill up details such as date of birth, roll number, etc.
·
The admit card will consist of details such as aspirants name, roll
number, exam center, exam date, timing, etc.
·
Without the admit card and valid id proof, aspirants will not be permitted
to appear for the examination.
NDA 2020 Exam Pattern
NDA 2020 exam will be conducted offline. NDA has two exams each year: Mathematics
and General Knowledge.
NDA exam consists of objective type questions with the total time duration
for each paper are 2 hours and 30 minutes.

NDA 2020 Result
NDA 2020 result will be declared online on the official website.
The result of the NDA written examination is released one or two months
subsequent to the exam. The result of shortlisted aspirants for SSB Interview will
be displayed on the website in a PDF format.
Qualified aspirants need to appear for the SSB Interview round conducted by
the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence. After clearing
the SSB interview, the final result will be declared.
